This class is for individuals that have already taken the State-approved online QISP training course and have passed the Mid-Term Exam. Click here for information and to register on the OWP website.

The class is designed to further prepare you to become a QISP and will cover the following topics:
• An overview of the Industrial General Permit and QISP responsibilities
• Permit applicability and new dischargers
• How to determine a facility's receiving water and applicable TMDLs and 303d-listed parameters
• Navigating and using SMARTS
• NECs and NONAs
• The ERA process and requirements
• Monitoring and sampling

WGR Southwest, Inc. is offering monthly QISP training classes in our training facility in Lodi, CA. There is no prerequisite to take our class, however, if you intend on becoming a QISP, you must have passed the midterm exam and registered for this class on the OWP website.

Each class is from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and includes complimentary lunch, snacks, coffee, water and soda. Photo Identification will be required. In order to receive credit for the class, the QISP candidate must be present and participating during the entire class period. Each student must bring their own copy of the Industrial General Permit. A copy of the Permit may be purchased at the class for $40.
